Tomassini with the intent of giving access to the UK market to companies producing food and wine excellencies. Steve Harris passed away in January 2013 leaving us
with an enormous sadness.

- Antonio Tomassini
was born in Rome and studied in Perugia. In 1995 moved to England and started Euro Catering Foods ltd supplying airlines worldwide with Italian Foods. In 2002 he became councilor of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in UK and resigned in 2012. Events, promotions and marketing have always been the main force of its business.
In 1999 Antonio Tomassini started doing events to promote italian food and wine excellencies in Art Galleries such as Whitechapel, Sotheby’s, Christie’s, South London Gallery, Italian Cultural Institute and Estorik Collection. Wine and Food Promotions is the natural evolution of his career. One of his latest promotions was on May 4th 2016, at the preview of the Missoni Art Colour at the London Fashion Museum

Raised in rural Wales on seasonal, local food - because there was no other - a schooldays exchange trip to the Aveyron (then one of France's poorest departments) taught him that while there may be finer ingredients in Wales, they are better prepared and more celebrated in France. Even aged 13, he was expected to work in the exchange family's Café Bar - rising from plongeur to garçon, it was here he began to speak the French of the kitchen and the market. His friendship with one of the greatest food photographers, Anthony Blake of 'Great Chefs of France' fame, took him into Michelin-starred kitchens and early morning markets.His career in food has involved a successful run on advising and helping drive brand development and positioning across a wide range of food sectors – eg Ethnic Foods, Speciality Poultry, Fine Chocolate, Fresh Produce, Italian, French and Spanish Foods. Major supermarket retailers have also called in Gareth Jones as advisor and food consultant.He likes to forage and shoot, believing passionately that if one can't find it and hunt it down, you have less right to prepare, cook and eat it. He writes from the heart about genuine experiences and real people - never happier when sharing something new and never afraid of the controversial nor the exposure of what lies behind the marketeer's guile. Gareth passed away in his beloved Puglia in the summer 2015. We will miss him forever!
Is a very experienced wine professional specializing in wine tasting presentation, wine writing, judging, and education. His long and varied career in wine has included seven years working for Steven Spurrier in France, and winemaking at Castello di Uzzano in Chianti. He is fluent in French and Italian.Gilbert is a Wine and Spirit Trust Certified Educator, and an Associate Member of the Institute of Wines and Spirits (AIWS). He is a judge on the International Wine Challenge, a member of the Association of Wine Educators and the Circle of Wine Writers, and writes for various wine publications including Decanter and Harpers. He has also appeared on TV, in episodes of Eggheads, Come Dine With Me, James May’s Man Lab, and Out of your Mind.

Naresh has long experience in the restaurant, events and catering business. He lived for more than twenty years in Umbria and has an extensive knowledge in wine and food. He has a diploma from the Italian Sommelier Associations and a degree from the University of Perugia. He moved to London, joined us in April 2014 and now runs the operations.
